Summer Travel & Billboard Trends


A recent study revealed a significant return of confidence in summer travel, as well as the impact of billboard advertising on vacationers and consumers of all types. Here are some of the key findings.

As people return to travel this summer, many will opt to do so by car. More than half will head out of state to visit beaches, lakes, national parks and museums, seeing billboards and brand messages along the way.
The Care Remains King. 95% view it as the safest transportation mode.

With the lifting of restrictions comes the return of the commute. While companies are still determining how best to bring back their employees to the office, people fully expect to resume commuting by car either part or full time soon, particularly those from higher income households.  
The Commute is Coming Back. Over 70% of workers are commuting to work.

Consumers are also reporting significant levels of mobile device burnout. They are eager to get out of the house and more appreciative than ever before of the outdoors.
