Lamar Advertising Brings Bold New Cellino & Barnes’ Campaign to Life with 3D Billboards in Buffalo and Rochester

3D Embellishments Take Personal Injury Attorney Firm’s Billboards into the Next Dimension

Baton Rouge, LA – August 11, 2015 – Lamar Advertising Company recently brought a bold new 3D billboard campaign to Buffalo and Rochester, NY for Cellino & Barnes, the largest personal injury attorney firm in western New York.

Cellino & Barnes took advantage of Lamar’s custom-produced 3D embellishments to create a bold, impactful design for its latest campaign targeting car accident victims. Larger-than-life 3D car props (measuring over 9 feet tall and more than 12 feet wide) were secured to billboard structures in Buffalo and Rochester, creating the illusion of a car crashing through the billboards. This is the second 3D billboard campaign to appear in the Buffalo market.

“Innovation drives advertising, and our team is always advancing the market for out-of-home advertising,” said Todd Schaefer, Senior Account Executive of Lamar Advertising of Buffalo. “3D billboards are new to Buffalo, and our creative team was thrilled to set up this impactful campaign to promote Cellino & Barnes. We expect that the billboards will generate a lot of buzz in Buffalo and Rochester.”

A larger-than-life 3D car was installed on Lamar’s billboard space in Buffalo and Rochester for the Cellino & Barnes campaign.

“The 3D board is another way for Cellino & Barnes to reinforce our message of ‘helping each client get the best result possible,’” said co-founder Ross Cellino.

Lamar fabricates custom 3D embellishments from foam blocks using a 4-axis router at the Lamar Graphics division in Baton Rouge, LA. The car props for this campaign were cut from foam and then coated in color and hardener to make them weatherproof, before being shipped and mounted to billboards.

The Cellino & Barnes campaign is running on three of Lamar’s billboards in upstate New York. There are two locations in Buffalo on Kensington Expressway @ 532 Norfolk, and on I-190 @ 491 Bailey Avenue; and one in Rochester at I-490 @ South Alexander.

The billboard campaign will run through March 2016.
