Lamar is the sole provider of transit advertising in Salt Lake City.  Of the 2.7 million Utah residents, two-thirds reside within our transit coverage area.  Utah Transit Authority (UTA) operates a fleet of more than 600 buses, 146 light rail vehicles and 63 commuter cars in a 1,600 square mile area that stretches over six counties from Payson to Brigham City making it one of the largest geographical service areas of any transit agency in the U.S.  The transit system circulates in diverse areas including downtown, Salt Lake International Airport, multiple universities, business districts, hospital and medical facilities, sports arenas, and residential communities.
