The Association of Fundraising Professionals Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter (AFP) has selected Lamar Advertising of Scranton as an “Outstanding Corporation” honoree. This year, Lamar has donated to over 120 local fundraising causes to improve the quality of life in the local Scranton community.
Some of the organizations Lamar has supported recently include: PA Association of the Blind, Stephanie Jallen Paralympic Fund, Inc., Jewish Family Service NEPA, Boys and Girls Clubs of NEPA, the National Human Trafficking Hotline, Ryan’s Run, United Way of Lackwanna and Wayne Counties, Little Sisters of the Poor, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern PA, Dress for Success Lackawanna, the Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Success by 6, Marley's Mission, Children's Advocacy Center, State Police, Blind Association, Ronald McDonald House and Women's Resource Center.
