Lamar Advertising Partners with Imagi Outdoor to Expand Transit Media Offerings in Quebec

Baton Rouge, LA – April 15, 2014 – Lamar Advertising Company (NASDAQ: LAMR) has partnered with Imagi Outdoor to expand transit advertising opportunities to businesses seeking to reach audiences in the fast growing suburbs of Quebec.

Imagi Outdoor is present in more than 140 markets across Quebec, including the North and South shores of Montreal and Quebec City, as well as the cities of Gatineau, Sherbrooke, Saguenay, and Trois-Rivieres. The company has long-term partnerships with over 40 transit systems and municipalities.

Under the new partnership, Lamar Advertising and Imagi Outdoor are now the only companies that can deliver transit advertising formats to advertisers who want to reach the millions of people living in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. Overall, the newly combined Lamar/Imagi Canadian market coverage will include the Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga and Burlington), Gatineau (a major Ottawa suburb), Montreal (North and South Shores), Quebec City (North and South Shores), and Vancouver CMA (Surrey and TriCities).

“The addition of Imagi Outdoor’s fleet of 1,300 buses across Quebec combined with Lamar’s extensive transit coverage throughout British Columbia and Ontario will offer advertisers even greater reach and impact than before,” said Byron Montgomery, Regional Manager Lamar Advertising Canada. “We look forward to working with Imagi Outdoor and helping advertisers successfully reach millions of people throughout Canada.”

Advertisements on buses, shelters and transit stations will provide national advertisers an even greater opportunity to reach millions of commuters, drivers and pedestrians that are spending increasingly more time out-of-home.
