Lamar Advertising Presents Check to City of Kelowna

Darren Peck, Sales Manager of Lamar Transit Advertising in British Columbia, presents a revenue share check to Jerry Dombowsky, Regional Programs Manager City of Kelowna. The check represents additional revenue to the City of Kelowna over and above the minimum annual guarantee.

Under the contract, Lamar Advertising Company offers transit advertising space on buses in Kelowna. Bus advertisements are available in a variety of sizes and formats, ranging from side panel displays to fully wrapped buses.

Bus advertisements provide both local and national advertisers the opportunity to reach commuters, drivers and pedestrians that are spending increasingly more time out-of-home.

WiFi Recharge Stations Coming Soon

Commuters in Vancouver will soon be able to charge their phones and enjoy free WiFi connectivity while waiting for the train, thanks to a new product from Lamar Advertising. Lamar has plans to install the WiFi recharge zone kiosks in a number of Expo Line, Millennium Line and Canada Line stations in Vancouver.
